If you're obsessed with Mario Kart, you should probably prepare your bananas. You can finally test your skills in real life at a new e-karting circuit opening near Montreal in the spring of 2021.

The track will be located in Sainte-Thérèse at TAG E-Karting & Entertainment. The massive project will cost $18 million and have a footprint of 65,000-square-feet.

The project by notable racing driver Alexandre Tagliani will have three tracks on three levels, giving visitors a choice of six courses.

There will be one for adults, one for children and a half-kilometre “super track” that combines the two.

According to TAG E-Karting & Amusement, the karts will be “the most sophisticated electric models in the world”.

“Imported from Italy, the karts will be 100% electric, silent, non-polluting and odourless (zero emissions). "

The cool little vehicles will have a “Boost button” for speed, which can be interpreted as the equivalent of a mushroom in Mario Kart. It doesn't get much closer to the real thing.

In addition to being able to test your driving skills, you will also be able to take advantage of the other activities available like laser tag, axe throwing, bowling, virtual reality, and more.
